Duh-uh…???

A news clip in Mid-Day mentions that the KKR Team bus was pelted with stones on their way to Eden Gardens last night. Yes, on their way TO Eden Gardens, not on their return FROM after losing a thriller to MI. The same article goes on to say that Eden Gardens had a full house for this match – for the first time this season.

Now…why would you pelt the home team’s bus before the match ? In anticipation of a loss – and since we are all gathered, might as well be done with it ? That’s got be one crazy bunch of fans, and not crazy as in fanatical but crazy as in ‘needing help urgently’.

I can only imagine poor Gambhir’s confusion at the time. He has turned KKR’s fortunes around, taken them to the last 4…and at the time of the incident, was heading into the clash with MI as a favorite. Meanwhile…for the local populace – they’ve gone past Dada, who has joined the Warriors. KKR is doing really well. Plus they show up in full strength “buying” tickets. 

So what could possibly be the reason for the IRE of the KOLKATTANS ? As Obelix would say, tapping his head, “these Romans are crazy”:):):)
